The NMDOT, in cooperation with FHWA, is conducting a Study on NM 17 between milepost (MP) 0.0 at the US 64 Intersection to MP 1.75 at 1st Street and on US 64, from MP 160.7, approximately 0.25 mile west of the NM 17 Intersection, to MP 161.7, about 0.4 mile south of the NM 17 intersection. The objective of the study is to analyze existing conditions, verify the need for improvements, and evaluate feasible alternatives that provide solutions to identified problems. Ultimately, the study will assist with defining future design and construction goals within the Village of Chama.
