Project is along I-40 between milepost 8.7 and 9.7. This project is in the design phase and would involve the replacement of the I-40 bridges over the Rio Puerco. Existing bridges are nearing the end of their service life and warrant replacement rather than rehabilitation to accommodate new Interstate 40 standards arising from the I-40 Corridor Study (CN 6101580).
